One-inch (1:12) scale dollhouse miniature aged, reddish (almost burgundy) ice box from CJ's Miniatures. This wonderful, handmade, vintage, artisan icebox measures about 1-5/8" deep by 4-1/16" tall by 2-1/4" wide and features a top opening for ice plus a front opening door that reveals an interior shelf (permanently fixed in place) with silver-tone finishes. The exterior features brass hinges and handles. Simply add a pair of ice tongs, a few food staples and you've got the beginning of a mid 19th Century Victorian period kitchen setting. You can use this beautiful piece in a kitchen pretty much through the 1930's when electricity was introduced (unless of course your dolls house is situated way out in the country).
