One-inch (1:12) scale dollhouse miniature walnut ice box from Town Square Miniatures. This icebox measures about 1-7/8" deep (2" including handle) by 4" tall by 2-5/8" wide and features a top opening for ice plus a front opening door that reveals an interior shelf with silver-tone finishes. The exterior features brass handles. Simply add a pair of ice tongs, a block of ice, a few food staples and you've got the beginning of a mid 19th Century Victorian period kitchen setting. You can use an icebox in a kitchen pretty much through the 1930's when electricity was introduced (unless of course your dolls house is situated way out in the country).
