Product Description
French Aubusson: The middle of the 18th Century was one of high adventure for the colonists because of the pirateering during the French War of 1756-63. Among the captured loot which was brought back to the colonies and sold at auctions were the beautiful Aubusson rugs. The large rugs with elaborate floral designs were just as popular then as today. Pattern is silk screened on an 11" fabric square and requires a #1 and #6 punchneedle. Additional supplies and thread suggestions are listed on the instruction sheets included with the pattern. Finished size is a 8" x 8-3/4" rectangular shape. Beautiful alternative to French knot rug making for one-inch (1:12) scale dollhouse miniatures.
