This display case with mirror back was originally purchased for use in creating a roombox type vignette that never happened. It is actually a basketball display with a raised stand to keep the ball in place, but that can fairly easily be eliminated by framing the base and adding your choice of flooring. It's possible that the raised stand is removable, but I did not attempt to do so. The case is still wrapped in its original protective film. Currently, this item (or a very comparable style) is available for purchase at Michaels, but you can get this one today for a great clearance price! The black painted pine, glass, plastic and mirrored display is essentially an 11" cube making it the perfect size for a one-inch (1:12) scale miniature room setting.
