Product Description
The simplicity and charm of the more primitive rugs of the Early American home are classified as folk art because the personality and individuality of each maker comes through in color choices and modifications of designs. Natural themes such as flowers, leaves, animals, and geometrics, often permeate the designs. Patterns are silk screened on an 11" fabric square and require a #1 and #2 punchneedle. Additional supplies and suggested threads are listed on the instruction sheet included with the pattern. Finished sizes: 4" x 2-1/2" oval rug, 2-34/ x 3-7/8" rectangular rug, and a 1-5/8" x 3-7/8" rectangular rug. Beautiful alternative to French knot rug making for one-inch (1:12) scale dollhouse miniatures.
