The #3 punchneedle uses 3 (or 4) strands of embroidery floss or other threads of equal thickness. The miniature size punchneedle maintains good balance, better control, precision and feed. The hexagonal handle is easy to grip, will not roll off when placed on a flat surface. The front side of Bernadine's Needle Art punchneedle is designated by the branded "B" on the brass handle. The needle point will not cut the fabric. The gauge (red colored coded plastic tubing for the #3 punchneedle) is an incredibly simple method of creating and maintaining consistent loop size with every stitch while the threader makes threading the needle a breeze.
