Product Description
Package of three different cedar shingle cuts that when combined create a beautiful wood shingle roof with a delightful heart shaped pattern. Kit contains enough pieces to shingle approximately 2-1/2 square feet of a one-inch (1:12) scale dollhouse. While this roof pattern may be installed on any style roof, it is most striking on a simple roof devoid of dormers or complicated roof angles. Made in the USA by Alessio Miniatures.
Please Note: Due to the nature of this product, it is not unusual for each package to contain shingles that vary slightly in tone/shade. If you require more than one package for a project, be sure to blend the contents from all packages before installation.

Very cute
These are attractive and pretty easy to work with, once you get the pattern down. I do recommend laying out the shingles for your first 3 lines prior to gluing them down so that you can ensure you have the pattern right. DO BUY more than you think you should need. There are plenty of broken, chipped or incorrectly sized shingles in the bag. I got 2 bags for my project and definitely ended up needing 3. On the other hand, the roof has gotten massive compliments! I used an opaque red stain on these and it absorbed beautifully and looks slightly glossy and still retains the natural irregular shades of the wood.
