Although not surrounded by rolling vistas of grapevines, my miniature second-floor wine tasting room hints at a lower level wine cellar and provides guests a spot to sit and watch passersby as they sample the fruits of our labor.
Originally inspired by my first winery setting (literally created in a wine crate), I thought I might attempt a two-level structure within a much larger and slightly more shallow wine crate.
Since I was still operating my dollhouse miniature storefront and had space for classes and workshops in the back room, I decided to share my design (and the fun of creating it) with students.
I think it's safe to say that everyone had a great weekend putting their own personal touches on the winery.
I thought you might enjoy seeing a few of the photographs of my final product. One I enjoy peering into anytime I feel the need to step away from the day to day.
