- Two pure white LEDs with 8 inch wires.
- A coin cell holder with attached mini-switch circuit board.
- One CR2450 coin size 3 volt battery.
- Two 1-inch pieces of "EZ-shrink" shrink-tube.
You have the option to add more lights. This kit can run up to 10 lights nice and bright. Ten LEDs will run about 25 hours on one battery.
How to connect:
Slip the red "EZ Shrink" tube onto the red wire connected to the battery pack. You may need to untwist the red and black wires connected to your circuit board to give you sufficient length. Twist together the exposed silver wire of the red wire from the battery pack with that of the red wire from your LED. Repeat the sequence with the black wires. Insert battery into battery holder. Test your connection. Once you are certain that you have good contact, slip the "EZ Shrink" tubes over each twisted connection. Wave a match or lighter beneath the EZ Shrink tubes so that the tube constricts and "hugs" the wires. Be careful not to hold it too close for too long that it melts the shrink tubes. That's it!
NOTE: Soldering provides a generally more secure hold, but this method will work just as well as long as there will not be any tugging or pulling on the wires.
